10 Reasons Daniel Bryan Will Not Be WWE Champion After SummerSlam

2. WWE Is Looking To Push New Talent

Bryan has had a nice run at the top of the company, but it will eventually come to an end, whether fans approve or not. Even when Bryan was still actively competing, it seemed like he was an afterthought at times, as his program with Kane was often overshadowed by the rivalry between the Shield and Evolution. The company is putting more focus on new talent such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Bray Wyatt, and those guys will continue to soak up more of the spotlight as the summer rolls on. Seth Rollins in particular should receive a considerable amount of attention after his defection from the Shield last week on Raw. There are also reports that Cesaro could win the Money in the Bank briefcase that would guarantee him a title shot. The future of the WWE has arrived. It will be interesting to see if Bryan is assimilated into the next generation of talent, or if he fades back into the midcard after fans lose interest.
