10 Reasons John Cena Will Be Missed At WrestleMania

2. He's Good Fun

John Cena is fun. You can point to his faults as often as you want, but when he is on the TV, you are very rarely bored. You might be bored of the fact that he keeps on winning matches, but when he is stood in the ring it's not often that he fails to entertain. John Cena is a fun wrestler and sometimes that is all you need. And yes, that does mean you sacrifice some of the technicality that hardcore wrestling fans crave. You are never going to see him go hold for hold with AJ Styles or have a fast-paced, high spot-filled match with Neville. He can't do that and he doesn't try to. But if you put him in there with a guy who compliments him, he can put on some stupidly entertaining matches. Just go back and watch his bouts with Kevin Owens or CM Punk and remember those guys weren't in there by themselves; Cena held up his side of the bargain, too. It's not just in the ring that he brings the fun, though, he does it on the microphone too. Cena may have a habit of slipping into the same old cliches, but when he is given an opponent who he can bounce off of, he pulls it out the bag. It wasn't that long ago that the build up to WrestleMania saw him quite convincingly school The Rock during their promo exchanges. That's no mean feat, obviously. John Cena is a fun wrestler and fun is always a good thing. With Cena missing this year's WrestleMania, the biggest, most important show of the year (and the shows leading up to it) just got a little less fun.
