Kevin Owens has an attitude about him that fans have not seen since the height of the era that revolutionized professional wrestling. Whether talking to his opponents or Michael Cole at ringside, he exhibits a very real, very raw "f--- you" attitude. Even backstage interviewers such as Renee Young and JoJo are subjected to his sarcasm and verbal smackdowns.
He is the antithesis of cordial. Like a certain Superstar before him, he is as ornery as a rattlesnake and is as cerebral an assassin as the guy he currently works for. He exhibits the take-no-prisoners attitude that audiences have clamored for from the moment WWE shifted to a more family-friendly product.
And best of all? He does it without descending into vulgarity or being overt about it. He doesn't need to drink beer, flip fingers, come up with catchphrases or sell t-shirts. He is the meanest and nastiest, wittiest and even funny, cockiest and most arrogant star on the roster and WWE is far better off for the injection of attitude he brings its broadcasts.
