10 Reasons King Barrett Is Dead In The Water

8. WWE View Barrett As Injury Prone

Traditionally, once a wrestler is viewed as injury prone by WWE management, their cards are marked in that category until the end of time. There are only a few wrestlers who can get away with being susceptible to injury, with Randy Orton being a notable exception, simply because he has always been viewed as a true home grown superstar and a special case. Wade Barrett has suffered from a fair few injuries throughout his 5 years in WWE, ones which unfortunately come at (fittingly) bad times for the Englishman. A nasty elbow injury was sustained in a freak accident on one episode of Monday Night Raw in 2012, when Dolph Ziggler landed on him awkwardly, and in 2013, the man was put on the shelf with a separated shoulder whilst he was Intercontinental Champion. Upward mobility following the King Of The Ring doesn't look all that likely for Wade Barrett, and it's possible that such previous injury woes could be weighing on WWE's minds a little when contemplating the guy for a big push, which is pretty unfortunate given the circumstances of his injuries.
