10 Reasons NXT Will Continue To Be WWE's Best Overall Product

4. One Hour Of Programming

There are weeks when WWE's Monday Night Raw feels interminably long and is actually physically painful to stay up throughout. Between retreaded matches, bad promos and lackluster commentary, it's quite the arduous process. Compare that to NXT, the show that's one hour long and feels like it's over before it actually started. To be honest, WWE Smackdown is an easier show to watch than Raw because it's two hours long. But, that still doesn't mean that there aren't weeks where Smackdown drags, too. Overall, WWE has such a profound lack of super-star power that the wrong combinations of talents in feuds can just make the show feel like it's two great segments with a show otherwise packed with lackuster filler. Compare that to NXT, which is great at just an hour in length in spite of being similarly hamstrung by all of the reasons that oftentimes make Raw and Smackdown terrible. NXT has stars, but lacks huge star-power. Thus, you want to see your favorites in drips and drabs that highlight their strengths and eliminate their many weaknesses. In doing just that, NXT succeeds where the main roster doesn't.
