6. AJ Lee Was Still A Top Diva

Although this would only be AJ Lee€™s second-last Mania, it might as well have been her swan song at the big one, given the circumstances of her final performance. At last year€™s event, she was all but written out of hers and Paige€™s match with the Bellas, perhaps to avoid having her go into business for herself before her public departure. In no way, shape or form was it a display of her talents.

AJ€™s been gone for almost a year now, and although nobody would dare say she isn€™t missed, she would have been far more sorely so if the Divas division were still in the condition she left it in. Luckily, her departure was followed shortly by the arrival of (three of) The Four Horsewomen.

The thing is, if you go back and watch any of AJ€™s later work, you end up regretting that she didn€™t stick around long to see her peers catch up to her level. AJ versus Sasha Banks? Dear god, yes.

So even though Mania XXX was just a divas battle royal and one Black Widow, it was still AJ€™s time as the number one Diva. To think of what could have been€

Another bitter pill is knowing that her title reign at the time would go on to be replaced in the history books by Nikki Bella€™s. Yet another is being reminded of CM Punk.
