10 Reasons Re-watching WrestleMania XXX Is A Recipe For Depression
5. Hulk Hogan Was Still A Welcome Face

Lets be clear: its not as though Hulk Hogan exercised a direct presence in the hearts and minds of fans in recent years. But he was thought of as an institution in wrestling, and WWE never balked at including him in the bigger events.
The 30th anniversary of WrestleMania (actually, kiddies, it was only the 29th) was certainly an ideal time to bring out the guy who shaped the early years. Hogan was the host and the first face the crowd saw, and got a heros welcome from the fans. They even laughed along when he forgot what building he was in.
No matter what, he always had a place in WWE, and his music could still pop a crowd like it was 1988. And then
After surviving numerous troubles and controversies that could have derailed his relationship with the company, he finally had a moment that was simply too much for WWE. More than merely falling out of their good graces, he was stricken from all WWE material like something out of Stalins playbook. Whether the punishment was too harsh is a topic for another discussion.
Then again, one wonders if the WWE Network archive would even contain the Hogan segments at all since the incident still, that would leave nine good reasons not to find out.
