10 Reasons Seth Rollins Is WWE's New Shawn Michaels
3. The Mic Skills
When it came to cutting promos, as a face or a heel, Shawn Michaels was always absolutely awesome. He came across as so confident and delivered his words with such engaging force. He never sounded like a guy reading a script, he just sounded like himself. Everything from the tone of his voice, to the look on his face, was just perfect. He knew how to play with the crowd, how to time his promo, and how to get his point over. It is an asset that so few others naturally have in WWE. In Seth Rollins, you can see the same sort of skill set. His heel work on the mic has been epic in the past year. Like Michaels, he never sounds like he is reading from a script. He has perfect tone, perfect timing, and plays with the audience when appropriate. He always gets his point over, always getting the reaction he is looking for. Few people can hold a twenty minute segment like that. It is rare that you look forward to a wrestler cutting a long promo, but with Michaels and Rollins you certainly can. They make it worthwhile viewing.
