10 Reasons To Be Excited About The Rest Of 2020 In WWE

8. Drawing Resources From EVOLVE

WWE recently purchased EVOLVE, a developmental brand which has had close ties with WWE since 2015. Many of their matches can now be enjoyed retrospectively on the Network, and from this, viewers can unearth the older work of some of the WWE roster's current main stars.

Equally interesting, is that WWE have formally signed no less than seven EVOLVE talents to their own roster since buying the promotion, including former champion Josh Briggs and old pal of Eddie Kingston, Joe Gacy. Fresh faces will therefore be in no shortage.

EVOLVE is clearly a pool of impressive talent. Though there is always the risk that the integrity of up-comers may be compromised by being offered brass rings so soon, one could also argue that the adoption of the brand creates a more direct link to amazing wrestlers who may not have been revealed otherwise. Just so long as Vince McMahon and co. don't grab too many too fast, the red, blue, and black and gold brand could benefit in the near future from having this indie promotion by their side.
