10 Reasons To Be Excited About Wrestle Kingdom 11
7. O'Reilly Vs. Cole
New Japan's working relationship with Ring Of Honor has given both promotions the exposure they need in each other's markets and at Wrestle Kingdom 10, Jay Lethal was able to retain the ROH Championship in the Tokyo Dome against Michael Elgin, both newcomers to Japan.
At Wrestle Kingdom 11 the title will be on the line once more, this time between Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole. The difference here is that while Cole only recently joined The Bullet Club, O'Reilly has been a mainstay in New Japan's junior division for a few years now, so the Japanese crowd will certainly be familiar with his hard-nosed style. Though he mainly worked alongside Bobby Fish in the tag team scene, O'Reilly recently had a breakout performance in Japan against Shibata where he went toe-to-toe with one of the stiffest in the business and held his own.
If you're a ROH fan you can't miss this, but if not you'll still be in for a treat when the two former teammates collide in Japan for one of the richest prizes in American wrestling.
