10 Reasons To Be Excited About WWE NXT Takeover 2

1. We Can See These Performers Uninhibited Before The Main Roster Can Water Them Down

As has been said before, the WWE has had a hard time translating NXT talents to the main roster. Adam Rose is a prime example, and despite her push, Paige hasn€™t been quite as good on Raw as she had been on NXT where she was allowed to have serious rivalries. Big E hasn€™t been seen for weeks despite things looking promising for him down in NXT where he showed an uncanny ability to wordlessly whip the crowd into an energetic frenzy, and Bo Dallas sporadically makes appearances as the main roster has so far struggled to capture the magic that was the Bolieve movement on NXT. The only person in recent memory that has improved on his gimmick from NXT is Rusev. All these examples should prove that something is being lost in translation from developmental to the main roster. Now while it€™s hard to believe that Adrian Neville or Sami Zayn won€™t overcome any and every obstacle put in their way on the main roster, the possibility still looms that they could have their hunger to be better broken by the politics and creative stubbornness of the main roster like so many other NXT performers have after their Raw debuts. It€™s important that we cherish the moments where all these guys and girls are uninhibited and hungry to prove their worth. It€™s important that we appreciate how hard they work on NXT to improve every time they step foot in the ring. We should even take time enjoy the mistakes that they make on the road to becoming the best they can be, because on NXT mistakes are inevitable and often understood. NXT is the most consistently good hour of WWE programming on a weekly basis because the performers are hungry and are trying to find their way. They know that they can experiment and have fun as long as they bust their asses, and aren€™t in danger of being replaced or discarded. NXT is fun. Even when it€™s not perfect it€™s fun. Let€™s appreciate every moment these performers are able to have unbridled, unrestrained fun while putting on phenomenal and enthralling wrestling matches, before they all eventually make it to the regimented, corporate and political environment that is the main roster.
