4. There Could Be Other First Time NXT Appearances
Kenta isnt the only high profile name that the WWE signed recently. During the summer the WWE brought highly regarded international superstars Fergal Devitt and Kevin Steen into their fold. Kenta is certainly the biggest name of the three, but the other two are no scrubs. At NXT Arrival and the first NXT Takeover, one of the cool parts of the show were the WWE superstars that were sitting in the audience to watch the action taking place at the special events. It wouldnt be a surprise if they had Devitt and Steen sitting ringside for the event and acknowledge them during the broadcast. Quite frankly Devitt and Steen might be the perfect people to interrupt Kentas welcome party, annoyed that they arent being welcomed with as much fanfare, despite the fact that they are every bit the international superstars that Kenta is, maybe even more. It would be an instant classic NXT moment, all three huge new WWE signings of the summer of 2014 basically debuting at once and igniting a bitter rivalry. Thursday could be the first night they interact and by this time next year they could be like Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins on the main roster, their WWE careers forever intertwined. A rivalry cultivated in the developmental system, born out of a desire to prove who is best. The stuff writes itself. It most likely wont happen, but the chance that it could happen has to get you excited. You dont want to miss what could potentially be the most talked about moment in wrestling this week.
