10 Reasons Why Shane McMahon Should Bring Back WCW Raw

2. Sting Could Be Future Raw General Manager

Sting's last match in WWE came against Seth Rollins at the Night Of Champions pay-per-view on September 20, 2015. During that bout, the legendary star suffered injury problems to his neck that have since seriously threatened his in-ring career going forward. There are real fears that the Stinger will never wrestle again. If that proves to be the case, it doesn't mean he should be put out to pasture, never to appear on WWE television again. If Shane McMahon took control of Monday Night Raw, he could offer Sting the chance to act as General Manager of the brand. This gives the iconic WCW performer a renewed role in the promotion, and would make sense in terms of bringing top WCW stars into the mix. That was one major problem the last time WWE tried to present 'WCW' under their own umbrella. Men like Sting were conspicuous by their absence, and it hurt the brand overall. This time, there would be no excuse to make the same mistake. Better yet, keeping Sting out there on TV would keep things open for an in-ring return if he was ever able.
