10 Reasons Why You Need To Respect Kevin Nash

1. His Success

If this list highlights anything, it's that 'Big Sexy' has actually amassed a wrestling resume that any performer would be proud to call their own.

Regardless of his perceived limitations or alleged political manoeuvring, Kevin Nash is an unqualified success in just about any metric fans can find to judge this incomparable industry.

Assessing his talent as a pro-wrestler, as previously highlighted, some of his very best matches and promos hold up to scrutiny, and much of his oft-criticised back catalogue is nowhere near as awful as some commentators would have you believe.

As a breakout star, he enjoyed long periods as a top-liner during the industry's hottest ever period, drawing mainstream eyes long enough to even catch the attention of Hollywood, scoring several high-profile movie roles.

Financially, he's made no secret of the stability and security the industry has afforded him, earning enough to set his family up forever and likely see him through a healthy and happy retirement.

Finally, as morbid as it may sound, he is still alive!

Escaping two fatally hedonistic periods in both WWE and WCW, Nash can claim victory just by being here to share his tales - something far too many of his former colleagues tragically cannot boast.
