While we’re on the subject of The New Day/League of Nations match and the segment that followed it, can we talk about what a colossal waste it was of the three WWE Hall of Famers that were inserted into it at the conclusion?

The League declaring that no three men in history could take them on was clearly a set-up for a run-in, and while we didn’t get the one we hoped for, it was still a fun moment.

But Steve Austin coming out and stunning random people wasn’t anything we haven’t seen on three dozen different Raws since his retirement, Shawn Michaels comes back at least every six months to play a role in an angle – usually involving his BFF Hunter – and Mick Foley really shouldn't be involved in any sort of physicality at this point in his career since watching him hobble to the ring is depressing and a constant reminder of the toll all those brutal matches took on his battered body.

A far more effective use of these guys would have been to incorporate them into angles to advance a story and use their star power to actually get someone over and help elevate them rather than taking the guys who have to appear on TV every week and make them look like complete knobs.
