10 Reasons Why WWE Creative Is Nuts

1. Backing Into WrestleMania 30 Main Event Is Example Of Poor Planning

From a fan perspective, you know how we reacted to the Occupy Raw segment when Daniel Bryan got his match with Triple H and potential WWE Title match? By saying "finally they got it right." That's not what we're supposed to say or think. It's something we said because for two months they kept doing the wrong thing over and over.

The Daniel Bryan story was simple to tell. He won the WWE Title at SummerSlam. It was the best moment of his life. Then the evil duo of Triple H and Randy Orton cost him everything he worked hard for. He never should have won the title back a month later, but they did that stupid fast count thing. All they really had to do was put him in the Royal Rumble, have him win it and get the WWE Title back at WrestleMania. It's a simple story of a guy overcoming a struggle for six months to finally get back what was his.

It's an easy story to write because we've seen it many times before. Do the smart thing. Instead, they steered in other directions so often that they kept crashing until they finally did that Occupy Raw segment and did a few weeks of booking in one promo segment.

At the end of the night of April 6, most fans aren't going to care about how much WWE has messed up on the road to WrestleMania because ultimately they got it right by pushing Bryan this way. However, it's tough to ignore everything that has happened.

It's not like the WWE product is bad right now. It's just that it could be a lot better from a creative standpoint. Can some of these problems get fixed in the future? With proper planning and more developed storylines, that answer is a yes. Hopefully, for their sake as a company and for us as fans, they figure it out.
