WWE Roster Fantasy Draft
WWE Network

As great as the likes of Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles are, WWE’s current roster just doesn’t compare to that which comprised the original 2002 draft.

From The Rock and Undertaker to Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle, WWE’s first brand split featured a literal who’s who of professional wrestling. We’re talking genuine legends of the sport, main eventer players, multi-time World Champions, and Hall-of-Famers.

True, many who featured prominently in 2002 quickly faded away, but that’s beside the point. Compared to today, the roster was crammed with star quality, and as talented as today’s roster is, it can’t compete in terms of depth.

Barring a huge influx of new talent, WWE are spreading themselves far too thin here.
