Seattle, Washington, there really couldn't have been a better location for Daniel Bryan's retirement announcement. Not only is it his home turf, it is also the same crowd who started the Yes Movement back in December 2013's Championship Accession Ceremony. WWE were right to get the retirement booked in for this week's show. And in terms of timing, it was important to clarify Bryan's status ahead of WrestleMania. His situation had became a distraction, with many fans anticipating him to return in the recent Royal Rumble. By now making his retirement official, WWE have removed that distraction. WrestleMania season can now progress without the question of Bryan lingering in the air.
