10 Reasons WWE's Cruiserweight Division Has Fallen

1. Holding 205 Live After SmackDown Live

205 Live was doomed to fail before it even began, thanks to WWE's oh-so-wise decision to hold the show immediately after SmackDown Live instead of... well, any other time.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that your typical crowd will be bored by the time 205 Live rolls around, having seeing all the true stars during the SmackDown taping. Why would they stick around for a bunch of matches that are no more exciting than what they see every week on Raw, featuring wrestlers they know nothing about?

Any other company would have realized that there was a problem with this format and chose to tape 205 Live at some other time or on some other day. WWE, on the other hand, has instead ignored the issue and proceeded with 205 Live airing after SmackDown. It is now commonplace for fans to sit on their hands during the 205 Live tapings.

It would be considerably easier for the taping to be held before SmackDown, when the crowd is still electric, or have it emanate from Full Sail University all together.

205 Live will suffer until this is resolved, because it has been the biggest knock against the show since its inception.
