5. Splitting Enzo & Cass

Big Cass was always going to turn on Enzo Amore. Vince McMahon loves tall guys, and given that Cass' main selling point is his height, a big singles run was inevitable. Unfortunately, it has not only left the big man without a valuable mouthpiece, but totally killed what used to be one of Raw's hottest babyface acts.

Enzo and Cass are massively flawed performers, but they complimented one another. Cass' general lack of charisma was covered by his livewire tag partner, and Enzo's in-ring shortcomings were at least partially hidden by his pal (though Cass himself is no Vader). Their union was very effective in hiding their respective shortcomings, but tearing them apart has exposed them to the world.

Cass' singles matches have stunk, his character is generic, and he has convinced nobody of his main event prowess. Meanwhile, Enzo's popularity is dwindling by the week, and he has no clear direction going forward, even after showing up on 205 Live.

The seven-footer's injury was a freak accident, but here's hoping WWE use it to reconsider his direction. He just isn't ready for this level of exposure, and his career will be dead in the water if he picks up where he left off.
