10 Recent Times Wrestlers Went Too Far
3. Jeff Jarrett Takes Aim At The Banana Nose Circus
Ol' Double J didn't waste any time letting his former employers have it. But did you really expect anything less from the long-time wrestling presence?
That being said, there's a solid chance Jeff Jarrett's recent cutting dig at the new WWE regime on AEW Dynamite will all but guarantee he won't be popping up in the biggest promotion in the game for another two decades.
Hot on the heels of his shocking AEW debut, The Last Outlaw made a point of burying WWE's Braun Strowman as a "make-believe monster who wears red skinny jeans" before turning his attention to the new head of the WWE creative kingdom; a person who was seemingly responsible for Jarrett eventually being nudged out of the company in favour of long-time pal Road Dogg.
Claiming that towering AEW star Satnum Singh wasn't "produced by the banana nose circus", shots were most definitely fired Triple H's way.
Petty? No doubt. Unexpectedly hilarious? You betcha.
But Jarrett's bid to throw "straight fastballs" and not be dismissed as easily as the average modern day heel upon making his presence known in AEW has likely ensured one particularly lucrative bridge has been well and truly burned once again... and perhaps this time for good.
