10 Ridiculous Wrestling News Stories You Won't Believe

2. Moms Against WWE

https://twitter.com/MomsAgainstWWE/status/557300769649856512 Where do we start with Moms Against WWE, a group which is dedicated to stopping the wrestling juggernaut from corrupting the minds of today's youth. At least, that's what the Twitter page would lead you to believe, but the page is actually a parody account, one which has gained some traction for some of the more believable posts put on it. Amassing over 5,000 followers, Moms Against WWE managed to enrage a whole load of wrestling websites and blogs, along with that old chestnut, the religious community, by alleging that Daniel Bryan was sending Kane to hell by dropping him onto a fiery table at WWE's Extreme Rules PPV last year. By insinuating that WWE were trying to position Bryan as Jesus Christ, and Kane as Satan, the parody account stirred up the proverbial hornet nest. Some of the comments linked with the account are hilarious, and several big wrestling news sites ran with an article on this "story" as though it was 100% genuine. That kind of thing deserves applause, to work a worked industry that way, and a bunch of the fans who follow it closely, takes true skill.
