10 Ridiculous WWE Urban Legends You Need To Stop Believing
6. Sunny Days For Bret Hart
Remember when Michaels had an attitude problem? Well he still had it at this point in his career. Back when the Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels feud was getting red hot, a lot of personal tension was building between the two legendary grapplers. Many wrestlers can attest to the fact that Michaels was tough to work with, and even tougher to get along with if you werent part of his Kliq. Hart was yet another wrestler Shawn had trouble working with, and at one point the feud go so personal that private affairs were starting to be made public through the power of the promo. Hart, who was working heel at the time along with his Hart Foundation buddies, spoke on Raw one Monday night in Mobile, Alabama and delivered a promo bashing the American people and claiming that he would never wrestle in the United States ever again. Michaels appeared on the TitanTron shortly after and, while in an intoxicated state (according to Bret Harts autobiography,) Michaels laid it heavy on Bret by implying not only that he couldnt last ten minutes in any situation, but that he also had some Sunny days. Sunny was a WWE Diva who, perhaps unfairly, had a reputation for being very close with a lot of the wrestlers. Shawns comment opened the floodgates of gossip and speculation that Bret was having an affair with Sunny while on the road. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUdzPE0PbhA Years later, Sytch would admit that she never had an affair with Bret, but ironically she did have one with Shawn Michaels. Sometimes the real world is crazier than the scripted one.
