Cesaro earns his keep these days as a middling (albeit badass) tag team star with Sheamus, but fans of Ring of Honor will know that he has another gear - that was evident from the five years that he spent with the promotion after making the journey from Europe in the mid-2000s.

With a stiff, unorthodox style, Claudio Castagnoli - as he was then known - became one half of ROH's self-appointed "Kings of Wrestling" with Chris Hero, a duo that was anything but middling, as their epic 2010 match with The Brisco Brothers showed.

Despite never reaching the top of the tree in singles competition, Cesaro left the company in 2011 as one of its most beloved competitors - and it is to the surprise of few of them that he has become such a fixture in WWE.
