10 Sh*tty Storylines Bobbly Lashley Endured En Route To WWE Championship
4. Endless Destruction Of Cedric Alexander (2019-2020)
Even though The Hurt Business has only been around for about ten months, it feels as though Cedric Alexander has been a staple of the faction for years. However, it wasn’t that long ago that the rising star found himself in hot water with WWE management and was, to little coincidence, featured in lower-card acts, where he often found himself counting the lights.
Alexander currently sits in a much better position as a member of The Hurt Business than he did on his own before.
It’s all thanks to a long run-in with Bobby Lashley. Ultimately, the merciless beatings from ‘The All Mighty’ took a toll on the cruiserweight, convincing him to turn heel and join The Hurt Business. While this might have been a good thing in the long term, it took an eternity to get there.
Week after week, Alexander found himself suffering numerous losses with the only real swerve being an occasional match with another performer who was also greatly underutilized, Ricochet.
Although both Lashley and Alexander landed higher up the card once they joined The Hurt Business, the youngest member of the group still lacks a certain gravitas, which is most likely in no small part due to the number of times he was embarrassed by the current WWE Champion along the way.
