4. A Raw Script Leaks

There’s often complaints from fans and wrestlers that WWE overly scripts their promos and overall TV. Well in 2014 it was revealed first-hand how detailed WWE scripts promos for their wrestlers, when an actual script for an episode of Raw leaked online, with it being reported at the time Stephanie McMahon was ‘mad enough that she could beat Ronda Rousey in a UFC fight’ with the leak.

A big reveal from it was WWE gives names and titles to their episodes/scripts, with this edition of Raw, in particular, being titled ‘The Evolution of Justice’. It also confirmed what percentage of the arena that night were paying customers and what percentage were comped. News outlets also picked up on CM Punk being listed in the ‘Miscellaneous’ section after walking out on the company earlier that year, with nobody at the time knowing his status with the company.

Overall it was a deeply interesting look at how exactly WWE formats and writes their television, with the script being nearly identical to what transpired on TV that night, with Bray Wyatt’s promo being written out in lengthy detail.
