10 Shocking Returns That Could Happen At WWE Night Of Champions
6. Dean Ambrose
When we last saw Dean Ambrose, he was having his head stomped in on a stack of cinderblocks. In reality, Ambrose is off filming a WWE movie, but if the company was paying even the slightest bit of attention, the Lunatic Fringe was getting decidedly bigger and bigger cheers from the crowds, quite possibly even overtaking heir apparent Roman Reigns. The angle between Ambrose and Seth Rollins is one of the better ones out there right now, so its a real shame that theyve hit the pause button like this. Hopefully, WWE makes a smart decision to not keep Ambrose away for too long and tries to get him back into the mix sooner rather than later. One way to do that is have Ambrose continue those hit-and-run style attacks on Rollins with another at Night of Champions. Maybe Rollins contemplates cashing in his Money in the Bank Briefcase and Ambrose interferes. Maybe Ambrose runs out and evens up the odds if Kane gets involved in a possible Reigns-Rollins matchup. Either way, Ambrose doesnt need to come back fulltime if hes not done shooting the movie, but a spot appearance like that would keep him in fans minds while being completely in line with Ambroses character.
