You've probably been there yourself.
You make a faux pas at your new job, get called into the boss's office, and find him sat there in a powdered wig. Also: he's The Undertaker, and you're basically already guilty in his eyes and everyone else's, so shut up and take your punishment.
We're not expecting WWE to adhere to a conventional work grievance process, but Wrestler's Court sounds like the sort of thing that doesn't really belong in 2017. It's basically where the locker room hashes out its differences, with the losing party forced into an often cruel forfeit.
The majority of the great Wrestler's Court stories - including the one about Muhammad Hassan being punished with a $4,000 bar tab - came out years ago. And, most of the veterans now being gone, you imagine this doesn't happen with quite the same frequency these days.
But then that's exactly what WWE would want us to believe, because accusations of workplace "hazing" seem just a tiny bit out of step with its very public and explicit anti-bullying stance.
