2. Kevin Nash (8 Days - December, 1998/January, 1999)

January 4, 1999 should have been a date to remember for WCW. On that evening's Nitro, Hollywood Hogan had returned to the company, and he was all set to face Kevin Nash for the WCW World Title. This was a huge main event, and WCW had sold a lot of tickets in the huge Georgia Dome in Atlanta for the clash. Fans were eager to see the implosion of the New World Order. Hogan and Nash were the biggest power brokers in the entire faction, so the match promised to be a tasty affair. It wasn't, and was actually a complete swerve by both Hogan and Nash. After squaring up to one another, Hulk weakly poked Nash in chest. The big man fell theatrically, and Hogan covered him for the win. People were outraged, and things weren't helped by Tony Schiavone proclaiming before the move that "this is what WCW is all about". He'd have no idea how accurate that statement was. For his part, Nash had only held the World Title for 8 days. He'd defeated Goldberg at Starrcade, and ended him lengthy winning run. In the span of a week, WCW shot themselves in the foot twice.
