10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At Royal Rumble 2020

1. Someone Other Than Roman Reigns Wins

When Roman Reigns told Daniel Bryan on SmackDown that he planned to win the Rumble and challenge for the Universal Title at WrestleMania, everything became clear. All this goodwill Roman has built up since announcing his remission and taking a breather from the main event scene will end when he rides back to the top in Tampa on 5 April.

Or will it?

It'd bust a lot of betting slips if Reigns didn't win the men's Rumble at all. Remember that he could still wrestle his way into the title scene at Elimination Chamber, so it's not a stick on that Roman will roll into Houston and rectify the hatred that poured down on him when he won the Rumble back in 2015.

Someone like Drew McIntyre or Rey Mysterio (embarking on a retirement tour heading into 'Mania) could be a shout. Then, there's one of the NXT crew, and a few other outsider bets like Samoa Joe or Seth Rollins.
