10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At SummerSlam 2018

9. Becky Lynch Turns Heel

The Shock:

Becky Lynch, a natural babyface in a sea of sycophants, mistakes Charlotte Flair's earnest, professional Championship pursuit as something more sinister and personal. P*ssed off to the point of no return, she channels the dark frustration of fellow Four Horsewoman Sasha Banks - or Bayley, it's really hard to figure out what's going on there - and beats the p*ss out of her best friend before falling prey to a Divas-style roll-up from the self-confessed Diva that is Carmella.

The Likelihood: 70%

One would think that Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka because WWE perceives her as Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania 35 endgame. Flair is the natural heel in this scenario, but drifting off into sensible fantasy booking tangents is all-advised, as it pertains to the SmackDown Women's division. Carmella defeated Asuka on two consecutive pay-per-views this year. Charlotte ended Asuka's streak as the launchpad of Carmella's push. Carmella has blonde hair. Becky Lynch does not.

Becky Lynch therefore is far more likely to simply eat the clean pin - or she would be, if Evolution wasn't imminent.

Because it is, and you must expect WWE to commit to the best of women's wrestling, this may be the most effective means of building towards the Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair singles match.
