10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At SummerSlam 2018
8. Dean Ambrose Turns Heel
The Shock:
After months in the wilderness, Dean Ambrose is back. And, given his transformation from hipster fop to rock hard b*stard, we can only hope this process was filmed, for it would undoubtedly yield a sensational '80s style training montage.
Was the formerly insouciant "Lunatic" motivated to become so godd*mn shredded after finally registering the words of an exasperated Steve Austin in 2016? Or has he spent months simmering at Seth Rollins' own transformation into the People's Champion, the frustration at which boils over in a disturbing beat-down at the Barclays Center?
The Likelihood: 30%
Finally, something to inspire genuine positivity, as opposed to fake positivity cynically marketed to grab Stan subscribers. Whatever happens, it's very good to see Ambrose back. This is a rare win/win scenario; either we see a subverted sequel to one of the best programmes of the decade, and/or a series of cracking tag team matches between Ambrose and Rollins and Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.
We'll see it about 18 times on RAW at least, but those first two or three should be quite something.
