10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At SummerSlam 2018

2. Braun Strowman Cashes In

Roman Lesnar

The Shock:

After Roman Reigns finally conquers the Conqueror, following 14 Superman Punches and one Spear, the coronation lasts just one minute. Confetti falls from the ceiling, which should effectively obscure the empty seats. The remaining crowd goes wild (in fury, but they can just mute the mics again). Roman is your Universal Champion. Well, he's Vince's, but you get the idea. And then:

"BBRRRRAAAAUUN!"

The Likelihood: 50%

Who the f*ck knows?

We are dealing with the thought process of a guy who has lost his godd*mn mind, and was a sentient screaming ham to begin with. Who knows. Who knows. Vince is besotted by Roman Reigns, sees him as the future of the company, and has still conspired to ruin him as the upstanding babyface hero fans never have nor ever will see him as. The mentality behind the Roman Reigns push is impenetrable.

Roman Reigns Vs. Braun Strowman is one of few 'Mania-sized programmes on the RAW brand, so it seems premature to arrive at it immediately, particularly since it's inconvenient for either man to lose just now. Perhaps it's time to finally just hand Roman his big celebration already. With all that FOX money, just hire 15,000 extras to cheer him on.

Or perhaps not...
