10 Shortest Brock Lesnar Matches Since His WWE Return

Eat. Sleep. F5. Repeat.

Regardless of how much you may loathe Brock Lesnar, it's hard to argue against him being one of the few remaining superstars who radiate super stardom and bring fans to their feet every time they show up.

Of course, a major reason for that is how infrequent his appearances are. Despite being a world champion for the better part of the past half-decade, he's been absent from WWE programming more often than not and has wrestled only a handful of matches each year.

To his credit, all of his fights feel legitimate. Similar to his MMA days, it doesn't take him long to demolish his opponent and score the victory. That was never the case during his first run in WWE, but it only made sense for him to be booked more dominantly upon his return from his three-year stint in UFC.

Lesnar's blink-and-you-missed-it matchups aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they can sure be exciting spectacles when handled the right way. Even when they're not, they still make for memorable moments, for better or for worse.

The Beast Incarnate has competed in his fair share of short-lived matchups in 2019 alone, but where do they rank among the other brief bouts he's had over the last seven years?

When Brock Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012, his matches were reserved solely for pay-per-view. He was never booked to wrestle on Raw, SmackDown, or even house shows.

That changed in 2015 when the contract he signed around WrestleMania 31 included more non-televised dates for him to work. Granted, WWE's event emanating from Madison Square Garden in New York City that October was taped for the WWE Network, but it was treated more like a live special as opposed to a traditional pay-per-view event.

It became clear Lesnar wasn't getting paid by the hour when he made quick work of Big Show, who he destroyed with a series of suplexes before pinning him with one emphatic F5. The match was just over four minutes long, which was roughly the same length of their first-ever one-on-one encounter in that same building almost 13 years earlier at Survivor Series 2002.

No one was clamoring for a rematch after their previous outing against each other went half the time (more on that later), but the bout ended up being exactly what it should have been: short, sweet and relatively painless. At least, for Lesnar.
