10 Shortest WWE WrestleMania Main Events Ever

4. Hulk Hogan Vs King Kong Bundy (WrestleMania 2) - 10:15

It felt longer, in truth, but 10:15 was more than enough time to luxuriate in all that this was, rather than find time to concentrate on what it wasn't. There's something magic about the simple satisfaction of the good/evil dynamic between the heroic 'Hulkster' and the big, bad King Kong Bundy going to war in that cartoonishly violent big blue steel cage. Just don't have it go on too long, eh?

The wrestlers work mostly off of Hogan's taped ribs from a prior attack, and really, what more could be done with that beyond a tight ten? There is at least the rare use of blood for some literal colour, perhaps further confirming that the company were happy to take any and every shortcut to make this main event feel like it was worth the audience investment second time around.

To be fair to the key component and his promotional muscle, they were comfortably on top of the wrestling at this point. The formula hadn't even yet reached its apex.
