10 Signs Wrestling Is Heading Towards A New Golden Age

7. WWE's Ridiculous Talent Roster

WWE's current talent pool isn't perfect. There's a death of star power throughout the company, particularly compared to the Attitude Era, with only John Cena and Brock Lesnar standing out as legitimate megastars. The likes of Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins are great, and may reach the next level someday, but they can't match the allure of guys like Steve Austin.

Regardless, WWE's roster has never been more impressive in terms of raw talent. Raw, SmackDown, and NXT are stacked from top to bottom, with legitimately world-class performers shining at every level, from opening bouts to main events, though the company don't always make the best use of them.

AJ Styles is a five-star wrestler who stands among the best in the world. John Cena and Brock Lesnar have mastered WWE's 'big theatre' spectacle. The Usos and New Day are among the greatest tag teams in the company's history. Guys like Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Neville can have a great match with anybody. In developmental, the likes of Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano dazzle audiences every time they step into the ring.

WWE would have an in-ring product comparable to NJPW's if it weren't for their stylistic restrictions. Here's hoping they take the stabilisers off someday.
