6. Even GFW Is Good These Days

TNA, Impact, GFW: no matter the name, America's second biggest wrestling promotion have always been a farce behind the scenes. Their inept business dealings became a meme a long time ago, and if recent reports are to be believed, the promotion is once again teetering on the brink of collapse.

This makes it hard to take them seriously on any level, but if you're able to separate GFW: the business from Impact: the TV show, there's plenty to enjoy within their current product.

From Bobby Lashley's MMA vs. wrestling tug of war to Grado's battle against deportation from the United States, every story unfolds in a way that makes sense, with few leaps of logic to remove your suspension of disbelief. They also boast a fresh, exciting talent roster packed with enjoyable veterans like Lashley and Matt Sydal, supported by hot prospects in Trevor Lee and Dezmod Xavier, and their working relationships with Mexico's AAA and Japan's NOAH open up all kinds of exciting inter-promotional opportunities.

Impact isn't perfect, and the improvements haven't resulted in a significant upturn in ratings, but it's an enjoyable weekly show regardless. This is a huge step forward, given how atrocious the product was as recently as a year ago.
