10 Stacked WWE Cards Which Failed To Deliver
2. WrestleMania 32
When the most memorable moments of your PPV involve legends coming back to whoop your current talents *rses for a few segments, you know you've got problems.
That's exactly what went down at WrestleMania 32, though, and it now sits as one of the most underwhelming wrestling events in modern history.
Going into this 'Mania there were actually a few things to be genuinely excited about.
The Undertaker was taking on Shane McMahon inside Hell in a Cell, with Shane gaining the keys to the kingdom if he was to win.
We knew we'd have to endure that Triple H vs. Roman Reigns WWE Championship main event, but at least we still had Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar Vs Dean Ambrose in a No Holds Barred street fight and Charlotte Flair Vs Sasha Banks Vs Becky Lynch for the newly renamed WWE Women's title!
Oh, how little we knew.
That last match was an absolute banger. Yet, every other marquee clash ended the night with its tail between its legs.
Lesnar couldn't be *rsed to bump for Ambrose. 'Taker and McMahon was more painful for us than them (and that's saying something). Jericho went over a debuting Styles. The Rock, John Cena and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin all popped up to whip the current roster's butts and then there's that main event.
Ending your biggest PPV of the year with your top babyface being serenaded by a chorus of boos was certainly a moment to remember. However, it must still be chalked down as the cherry on top of this multi-tiered failure of a star-studded super show.
