6. Yoel Romero

With his bodybuilder-like physique and terrifying knockout power, it's easy to forget that middleweight contender Yoel Romero will turn 43 this April.

Age aside, Romero is still one of the division's top dogs. In fact, a recent report suggests that he may get another crack at the middleweight title in the very near future, despite the fact that he's lost his last two bouts.

Romero previously fought for the interim title but lost a close fight to Robert Whittaker. He also had two additional middleweight title shots (one interim), in which he failed to make weight and was thus ineligible to win the strap.

Given his struggles on the scale and recent record, it's a little surprising UFC decided to give him another shot at the gold. Still, assuming this fight happens, it will likely be the Soldier of God's last chance to capture a title before his career ends.

Romero has struggled with dynamic strikers like Israel Adesanya in the past and will have a tough time getting past the reigning UFC Middleweight Championship.

If the 42-year-old is unable to dethrone 'The Last Stylebender', he may not wish to stick around as a gatekeeper since a fifth title shot would seem very unlikely.
