Let that sink in for a moment. Where men like Steve Austin, CM Punk and Shawn Michaels have walked in the past, The Miz has lingered in their footsteps. It probably isn't even the fact he was a WWE Champion (although that is incredibly annoying), it's more the timing of when he won it. He headlined a WrestleMania show, successfully defending the title in the process. A few years previous, he was cutting cringing promos on the stage, making error after error. Yet all of a sudden, he was at the pinnacle of the company. Work out for yourselves how that even happened. Five (FIVE?!) reigns as a tag champion with the likes of Big Show (ShoMiz being perhaps the worst name for a tag team in WWE history), and John Morrison, as well as two US title reigns and two Intercontinental Championships puts Miz neatly into the middle of this list. You would imagine it is unlikely that he will ever add to that collection again. But that's irrelevant, because there's too much in his locker to start with already!
