10 Steps In Re-Booking The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar WrestleMania XXX Feud

4. Lesnar And Undertaker Spend Months Planning Their Match

The Lesnar-Taker match at WrestleMania XXX is remembered more for its result than the match itself for a very good reason: the match, well, sucked. Maybe it was because the chemistry was off, or maybe it was because Lesnar isn’t a ‘safe’ worker for the most part, or maybe it’s because Undertaker suffered a concussion early into the match.

Whatever the case may be, this was a match that really deserved extra attention and practice on the part of both athletes.

Undertaker and Lesnar would spend as much time as possible planning and practicing their match together. They would go over each spot and maneuver as carefully as possible, in order to make up for the flaws that exist between them. Doing so would (at least in theory) make the match easier for both athletes, and would (hopefully) prevent any serious injuries that would damage the flow of the match.

While Lesnar is by no means a ring general, with enough practice he’d be able to work a much better match with the Undertaker than the one he did at WrestleMania XXX. With enough practice, he’d be able to keep the stiff strikes down to a minimum, and every suplex wouldn't run the risk of injuring an already-weary Undertaker.
