10 Stunning Displays Of WWE Arrogance

1. The Self-Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2014, the night before WrestleMania 30. Just a few days later, the man had passed away. Many tributes flooded in from around the world, thanking WWE for giving Warrior a fitting - if unforeseen - send off to his fans. No mention was made of 'The Self-Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior'. Around a decade prior to receiving the Hall Of Fame treatment, Warrior was the focus of a smear-campaign DVD release that criticised him heavily. In 2005, WWE released the disc and loudly stated that The Ultimate Warrior was lucky to have ever been as big a star as he was in the 1980's and early-1990's. Fast forward to 2014, and the company were painting a very different image regarding their perception of his star power. The whole thing reeked of arrogance, and left a bad taste in the mouths of those who remembered it. Vince McMahon should not have given the go-ahead for the documentary, because it was bound to come back to bite him at some point in the future. The idea was clear, WWE made Warrior, and anybody could have played the role he did. Why then was he considered for placement in the Hall Of Fame?
