10 Stupidest Looking Wrestling Costumes Ever

2. The Shockmaster

The Shockmaster was an extremely short-live gimmick that appeared in WCW in 1993. Portrayed by Fred Ottman - who had previously portrayed Tugboat and Typhon in the WWF - the Shockmaster was unveiled as the mystery partner and replacement for Road Warrior Hawk on the face team of Sting, Dustin Rhodes and Davey Boy Smith against the heel team of Sid Vicious, Big Van Vader and Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) at Fall Brawl. His introduction would become one of the most infamous in wrestling history as, instead of bursting through a sheetrock wall, he tripped over a piece of lumber and pathetically fell through it - and what made matters worse was his stupid costume. Ottman wore a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet painted purple and covered in silver glitter, a pair of jeans and a long, black, puffy vest. He looked utterly ridiculous.
