10 Stupidest Reasons WWE Wrestlers Turned Babyface
10. Sheamus (Hated Bullies)
One of Sheamus' best early moments was kicking lumps out of Jamie Noble on an episode of Raw inside the hallowed halls of MSG in 2009. That established him as a dominant young bullying heel who believed he was WWE's next alpha male, and this trend continued until he targeted Mark Henry for being a bully.
FOR BEING A BULLY.
Yes, despite being one himself, Sheamus couldn't stand by and idly watch Henry intimidate others by literally throwing his weight around. So, in mid-2011, he decided that enough was enough and that someone had to stand up for the little man. That "someone" ended up being an Irishman who had oppressed everyone in sight.
Fans were hesitant to get on board with this moralistic, caring version of Sheamus. It stripped away everything that had earned him some cheers in the first place, and it barely made sense that he'd care about big 'Mizark' terrifying production staff.
