10 Stupidest Things WWE EVER Promoted

4. Randy Orton & John Cena Vs The Raw Roster

Only in WWE could a match pitting John Cena and Randy Orton against an entire show's roster and exist to put over Triple H.

Facing seemingly impossible odds, hated rivals Cena and Orton were forced to work together against the entire locker room thanks to a 'The Cerebral Assassin' using his smarts to take advantage of a pre-WrestleMania opportunity. The three were to wage a boring war over the WWE Championship at the 'Show Of Shows', and were given the chance to book their opponents however they wanted in the build. 'The Game's plan to have them both decimated here was surely foolproof.

What he didn't bank on was WWE treating most of the undercard like total f*cking fools. Which is odd considering how often he benefitted from that himself.

Anyway, a concept that stretched believability morphed into a match that snapped it. With relative ease considering the odds, Cena and Orton sifted their way through the bulk of the crew and were both comfortably in one piece for the three way snoozer a few weeks later. They at least ate Pedigrees at the end, so it wasn't just this match graphic they had in common with the rest of Raw's rank-and-file.
