Ladies and gentleman, the return of the king. The king, meet ladies and gentlemen.

Ex-New Bloodline member Tonga Loa has been on the shelf since suffering a nasty torn bicep during the titular WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. Reports immediately after that PLE suggested that Loa could be out for as long a 8 weeks. Obviously, we're beyond that now and Tonga still hasn't show back up alongside Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu and regular tag-team partner Tama Tonga.

There's been no word on further injury complications for Loa, so it looks like WWE top brass are just happy to bide their time on his comeback until they're good and ready. Tonga could be handy as meat in the sandwich to help sell issues between Solo and Fatu soon though. That's been simmering away nicely on SmackDown, and their problems will come to a boiling point soon enough.

Once Loa returns from injury and watches those above him implode, he can settle back into a groove next to Tama as part of the tag-team division. Doubles have been tearing it up on Friday nights for months now, so Loa and Tama reuniting as a pair would represent another welcome addition next to the Motor City Machine Guns, Street Profits, Pretty Deadly, Los Garza etc.

Of course, WWE will be keen to line up as many comebacks/debuts for the post-'Mania 41 Raw as they possibly can. That means Loa's first stop back could be on Netflix instead. Bet he's totally gutted by the thought of that spotlight, eh?!
