10 Superstars Who Deserved Better At WWE WrestleMania 34
7. Elias
It did not matter who wanted to walk with Elias at WrestleMania. Despite some expert trolling that kicked his night off on the right foot, he ultimately ended up a punching bag for familiar foe John Cena and was dispatched of in what amounted to WWE recognizing him as a star big enough to share the stage with Cena but also someone not at all on the level of the franchise.
The Drifter has become one of the centerpieces of Raw. He seized an opportunity, got himself over and is now a staple of the show. He deserved an opportunity to shine brightly on the WrestleMania stage. He earned the chance to leave a lasting impression.
Unfortunately, he was a tackling dummy, someone to take Cena's signature stuff before powdering to the arena floor so the leader of the Cenation could be confronted by The Undertaker.
It was disappointing given how hard he has worked to build his star, especially after a lackluster NXT run. He has become an essential piece of the Raw furtniture, but was not allowed to deliver in a match or in a segment where he even got one over on Cena.
It was unfortunate for the Pittsburgh native in what was his first shot at immortality at WrestleMania.
