Following the loss of his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34, The Miz was traded to SmackDown Live but will still receive his obligatory rematch. With eight reigns under his belt, Miz has the possibility of tying Chris Jericho's record of nine and jumping back to Monday nights.

The Miz has made repeated claims about making the Intercontinental Championship feel more prestigious, and he's certainly not wrong to be saying that. Each reign he's had in the past two years has been eventful. With eight runs under his belt, he's close to breaking two records.

If he were to regain the championship from Seth Rollins on Sunday, he would tie Chris Jericho with the most reigns. Then if he held the gold for more than 20 days, he would break the record of most combined days as Intercontinental Champion. The only person ahead of him is Pedro Morales, who stands at 619 days.

Should The Miz defeat Seth Rollins, it would leave much speculation about his status. Would he return to Raw? Or would the Intercontinental Championship go back to Tuesday nights?
