Mr Kennedy seemed to have a great deal of potential upon debuting on Smackdown in 2005. His loudmouth charisma and distinctive look carried him into main event contention on more than one occasion (even holding the Money In The Bank briefcase for a while, before losing it to Edge), but ultimately wasn't enough to overcome three key flaws: a proneness to injury, a tendency to fail drug tests, and backstage heat with members of the locker room. When two of the biggest names in the company are complaining to Vince McMahon about your unsafe wrestling style, you probably won't last long in the WWE. This fate befell Mr Kennedy, as both John Cena and Randy Orton went to the promotion's top brass about his in-ring ability. Unfortunately for Kennedy, he was never able to seize one of the many opportunities thrown his way, and was instead released in 2009. He has since enjoyed a successful career with TNA, proving just how tough a nut the WWE locker room can be to crack.
