10 Terrible Managers From WWE's Past
2. Kim Chee
Ask yourself, what makes a great manager? An innate ability to talk people into buying tickets to see their clients in action? Expressive facial expressions and gestures to add impact to high spots and help sell tension? In truth, it's all that and more. With that in mind, ponder the case of Kim Chee.
Brought in as the "handler" for the Ugandan "cannibal" Kamala, Kim Chee was silent, wore a strange mask at all times and did little to affect Kamala's matches. Without anyone able to verbally promote programs with the likes of Hulk Hogan and Jake Roberts, the angles suffered from lack of interest and fizzled out quickly.
Eventually Kim Chee would be replaced by Mr Fuji in his role before returning a couple of years later. The pair would then introduce Harvey Wippleman to be the mouth piece creating a strange co-manager situation that proved the old adage about quality over quantity.
